INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR ENGINEERING AND ELECTRONICS
- ABOUT US
NeT Instruments (where NeT stands for Nuclear Electronic Technology) was founded near Milan in early 2012 as a spin-off of multiple universities, drawing from both industry research and academic innovation. From the beginning, NeT Instruments focused on the design and production of electronic instrumentation for nuclear and medical physics, particularly amplifiers and preamplifiers. The first product listed in the catalog, now highly appreciated (the NTFA-16), is a 16-channel amplifier with low noise and excellent time resolution.
Over the years, NeT Instruments moved its headquarters to Milan, near the Politecnico di Milano, and has formed strong collaborations in both academic and industrial sectors, creating custom prototypes based on specific customer requirements.
NeT Instruments also has a long-standing collaboration with the University of Johannesburg, especially on the MinPET project (a new patented technology developed at the University of Johannesburg), which creates 3D images of diamonds locked inside kimberlite rocks, up to 15 cm in diameter.
We are results-driven and always open to various forms of collaboration, with a passion for working together to achieve success.
- MISSION
To provide reliable and high-performance electronic solutions for the detection and acquisition of signals in nuclear and industrial environments.
We support research institutions and companies with instrumentation designed for high accuracy, integrity, and adaptability to advanced application needs.
Our expertise spans from front-end electronics design to signal digitization for various types of nuclear detectors, such as scintillators and ionization chambers.
